And how about vaccination for adults?
I'd like to take a shot anti-hepatitis B. Anywhere good to get that?
Thanks

The c-e-n-s-o-r-ship here got to a level simply ridicoulous.
I understand how these top politicians don't care about the outside world, but given how we are connected today, their credibility is more and more at stake vis-a-vis with the international community. The legitimacy for the use of this type of power by these people is simply obsolete and out of context.
Is there anybody who can post links to listen or download Yunnan minority music? I mean the type we hear from women group dancing outside in the evenings. I also tried to find the Dynamic Yunnan music on Baidu music with little success (some songs are there, but all with bad quality). Thanks
I agree with Alien, aircon in KM is superfluous.
And I feel bad to use an electric heater mostly run by hydroelectric power. Those 3 or so dams we have in Yunnan did a lot of damage and they cannot be considered as good means to give us sustainable energy.
I don't mind the cold temperatures outside, but I really feel discomfort when having to work, sleep or eat indoor at temperatures lower than 16°C. If I had to live here for a long time, I would look up on how to install solar panels for electricity purposes.
I guess in medical statistics low temperatures are a co-variate. They are not the causing agents of sickness spread, but add up to them.
Our body tries to thermoregulate using up more energy, at the stake of our immune systems which in turn become partly deprived of that energy needed to fight air borne pathogens.

Kunming to put 45,000 public use bikes on roads
Posted byThanks for the info. I recently tried those in Guangzhou and Shenzen. They are great! No need to find a specific parking station. You just leave them anywhere you want and scan a QR code with the app. Through a geolocalised chip connected to the net they work like a charm. I guess the KM ones don't provide this option... And they will be small, suited for the standard Chinese body.
Snapshot: Kunming embraces its car fetish at annual auto show
Posted byThe journalist should have simply played down the "extravaganza" factor, and write an article about how "the 2016 version places great importance on showcasing fuel efficient hybrids and completely electric cars".
Kunming to invest in public electric car fleet
Posted byAre you guys seeing these electric cars around or parked in their own spaces? I think I haven't!

Posted byDriving in KM is doable also for a foreigner as long as you are a skilled driver, so to avoid the bad ones around. If you are a northern European who keeps 20 meters safety distance between cars, then you'd rather give up.
Most foreigners choose more ecological means of transportation in town anyway. Alas the locals do not learn the lesson.
How about the ecologic cars on display at this auto show? The rest does not interest me.
And how about reinforcing feet binding on the bus drivers to see whether they become lighter on those brakes?
New Kunming train station to open in 2016
Posted byThe location of this station will drive any average Kunming citizen crazy. It takes longer to get to the station than to the next province by fast train. People chose to travel by train because train stations are located at a closer location than airports. This won't apply in Kunming. That's really poor planning, regardless of those who say they think ahead of time and have located the station right there!
