I would venture to say quite a bit. And they're all over the city, plus more going up. I am also not sure if the 10:30 PM rule is much enforced. I've seen them on all night. Mind you the advertisers must be paying quite a hefty sum of money for the exposure, not to mention the production costs of the advert itself, so they push the adverting billboard companies to keep them on for as long as possible.
I am also getting interested in this. Been reading quite a lot about it.

What are some of the easier coins to mine? I've only been focused on bitcoin and have not explored further.
I think if they are polite, ask before pointing a camera in your face and keep the questions to a few minutes...why not? These kids hardly get a chance to speak with foreigners and this is a good chance for them to do so.
I have friends in China who work on contracts with proper working visas and have credit cards from Bank of China. Not sure if other banks are willing to issue credit cards to foreigners.
As others have already written, it would be best for you to visit a Bank of China branch and find out from them directly.
