im here!. alive, and yet my feet hurt and i seem to be locked tightly into my room with all my stuff. except theres a blanket here i dont recognize and my coat is kinda dirty. guessing i had an impromptu baijiu snooze and some kind souls got me home safely, finally. bless their little hearts.
i now imagine the baijiu only can get stronger, rather than toxic and die-full. thanks to all for your care and advice.
As a result, i bought a big bottle of hanizu baijiu from the jug up in the village, put it in my water bottle, brought it home.
delicious vanilla tones. spicy burn, yumyum!
but, i have honestly know idea whether it has a shelf life.
its only been a couple weeks "unopened" in the bottom cupboard of the kitchen.
im gonna have some now, and see if i die.
but seriously, would like to know if its possible for it to go off at some point. its gotta be at least 50%, so...
lim lao.
and thanks.
i used the baopals website, and although nowhere near as comprehensive as the real thing, its got some good stuff, all in english, etc.
you can pay via wechat as of late, and it lets you follow baopals via wechat, where a page comes up with searching and account management,
Most of my old friends from BKK who still kick around there have been having to make pilgrimage to their home countries to get the long O visas. i have invited them up here to visit while waiting for said visa, but they all declined as they had worry they would be refused in a third country. have put in a call, let's see what they say is happening these days with ol Siam authorities
no worries about the filming for now. A) it'll be a while before that happens,
b)and also im in with the laoban in said village. it'll work out when the time is right.
but very thanks for the suggests about the language stuff, i'll look into them!
well that was a lot of fun, and my arm may fall off. be sure to wait for host Charles to show up so as to not confuse the kind old man behind the counter, who will charge an extra 5 kuai per person, per game. can't wait for xmas to be over and start again weekly in january! a great alternative to the pub.
