I got the opportunity to work with some Chen Tai ji masters such as

Wang Xi An, or Chen Zheng Lei. I've never payed so much money (in China, and even abroad!).
In my opinion it's a ripp off.

Good or no good is often a question of personal feeling.
But as a French man, I definitely vote for French Cafe whose bread can really be compared with many good bakeries anywhere in France.

Hello Chris8080,
Your question is very interesting, and difficult to answer.
It's often asked by people who does'nt know aikido, and aikidokas as well.
First, I remember a saying which goes more or less like this: "it's not the technique which makes the man,but the man who makes the technique."
This is in real situation. I've heard several reports about professonal karatekas,or boxers as well who had been knocked down in the street.

In the same time I know some aikidokas who had unfortunately to face agression, who thank's to their knowledge succeeded to manage the situation.

About aikido, I think like tai ji quan for example, harmony, spirit, energy, health have been mainly emphasized especially since 30/40 years.
That does'nt prevent to get some keys for self defense for people who are interested in.

This is not only a chinese problem.
I travelled in many European countries, as well as USA.
Books could be written about this issue, and photos to illustrate.
A lot of toilets around the world are worse than the dirtiest pigsty.

Please someone could explain me how to get there, as I am new in Kun Ming, and my Chinese not yet very good.
It seems according to Geezer that there are other buses to go to Guan Du?
I'm living center of Kun Ming, and I did not see the buses indicated in your previous post.
Thank you.
