Not Sinovac but the Vero cell Covid 19 vaccine from Beijing Bio. Second dose in 42 to 56 days so we are not there yet.

In reaction to my earlier point:
Twenty-five counties and cities in Yunnan province, which borders Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, had also vaccinated 97 percent of their 4 million target group, according to official data.
Mario
It was not a random act of kindness. I have some business dealings with this person.
Same trick might not work for others.
PS: it was a different clinic then yesterday.
As pointed out by me before the foreign residence population in Yunnan is completely different than the one in the coastal area.
Charging twice nearly a hundred kuai to people/residence from across the Yunnan southern and western borders would be counterproductive. Many of them work in simple agricultural work like rubber tapping, tea picking and as basic labour at construction sides. I think that most of them will be included in the mass vaccination drives that take place in these area.
Got my Covid shot today. I am not sure if it was all according to the rules because somebody with connections at the clinic pushed things through. Took however hours. First one hour in the drizzle, then one hour in the rain and then one hour under cover of the awnings of the shops next to the clinic. Once in the registration is done and blood pressure and body temperature is checked. Then in the queue again for entering you data in the system. This time this worked because of the connected person’s meddling. Then in the queue again for your shot followed by the half hour observation period. In all nearly 4.5 hours.
Like yesterday there were no distancing rules and during the intake you sit shoulder to shoulder. Long since that I have been in so close contacts with total strangers. Good thus that we do not have actual Covid in Kunming.

Posted bySteel and aluminum can be reused by melting it down again. This takes quite some energy and will create quite some pollution of the burning paint and plastic parts but especially the rubber tires which are not removed from the bricked up MoBikes in one of the pictures.
Indeed cycling looks to be less environmentally friendly if it goes this way. The electronics in these bikes contain lead-tin solder and copper and the material from which the battery is made all ending up as waste.
