There is a small AA group in Kunming if you want to stop drinking. You may contact 18087197572 about learning more and joining this fellowship. It's working for millions world wide. The previous threads covered a lot of areas already. It's for women as much as for men. Spirituality is apart of recovery in this process. It all Works.

Lack of water in our system or mild dehydration is very subtle. We often do not even realize it has affected us. Its not going to kill you. I meet people all the time, especially new to Kunming visitors who simply do not realize they are affected. Why am I breathing so hard when I climb stairs? They think. Why am I so dry mouthed or irritable? We have thousands of visitors for the Yunnan Exposition this week. I had a friend a long time resident this week who had a small problem. We know all this but easily forget so this is my annual reminder.

Symptoms and signs of dehydration. What to watch for: This can be minor, such as increased thirst, or more severe. Depending on the extent of the dehydration. Along with thirst, initial symptoms of dehydration include reduced urine output and darkening of the urine as it becomes more concentrated. If the condition progresses, other symptoms develop, including dry mouth, decreased perspiration, lightheadedness, muscle cramps, weakness, palpitations, and absent tear production by the eyes. The skin may feel cool and clammy.

My post here is to simply to mention, with concern, subtle problems that can occur in high altitude, dry, areas with slightly smaller amounts of oxygen. Many should drink more water.

We have numerous visitors to Kunming this week. Dehydration can occur to some. The effects are slow and subtle often not noticed by those who suffer them and usually are not that serious. This has happened to many living here. They can slightly affect ones judgement depending on the person. This is NOT a serious huge problem Kunming, one simply should be aware of it. One can notice the affects sometimes when climbing stairs here if one is from sea level area. Slight shortness of breath. One sees many of us locals carrying bottles of water around on the streets daily. Denver in America has had similar conditions since it was developed. As to beer it contains alcohol which is generally classified as a dehydrator.

The topic spelling errors were deliberate. Tigertiger, thanks for the suggestions for ones personal business development.

I know of many successes at the KM Commodities Expo yet we keep reading about all the problems of

companies coming here have. This forum has helped some. Free advice. There is a lot of experience with Yunnan here. How to better use it and yes why not pay for some of it too?

I, an American, was recognized as one of the Zheng He ambassadors. It will be on YNTV tonight 7-17 and tomorrow. Zheng He should be a role model or inspiration for Chinese youth to become the next expolrers of outer space and exploration of the planets.

I would suggest that hundreds of thousands of trees, shrubs and plants were killed by the cold. Air quality and air safety is going to be a real problem in the area without a massive replanting scheme by all. Yes some plants will revive. Some will be finished off by massive over trimming. The continuing cold weather is not helping. What is the government planning to do and how can we help?

I can personally comment on Qiu He. I can honestly say that when I directly asked him for help to stay in Yunnan, five years ago, his staff directed me to the proper city and provincial government staff persons. I gave no bribes. Paid no one anything. Nor was I asked to give any benefits anyone for anything they helped me with to stay in the province. I have never had to pay any government person to stay here in business.

Where might we find or obtain a break out or list of the non-mainland passport holders living in Yunnan by country or other location? We are particularly interested in the general numbers of various westerner nationalities living here.
