Does anyone know of a nice self catering situation?
We are looking for furnished, quiet, accomadation with cooking facilities, for the next 2 weeks. A recommended guest house, or hotel would probably do. Ideally near to Green Lake.
We are staying in the Green Lake area and wonder where the best playgrounds might be around there. And is there one good place where we might meet up with other families?

We are a Canadian couple with a 4 year old Chinese daughter. We are arriving in Kunming next week to look into the possobility of spending a school year in China so that our daughter will "get" mandarin.
We are interested in meeting up playing and talking with other families to learn what might be involved in doing this if we choose to.
We will be staying initially in the Green Lake area and would like to know of any activities which may be of interest for a 4 year old.
Is there prehaps an international students association?
Could you fill us in more about the Fat Tire Fun Club and schedule? Also it would be great to be updated about the race in June. How far is it around Dianchi anyways? ..............and some info about the bike path.
