How did you setup PPPoE? I think in ubuntu it just calls it "DSL". With 9.10 I also had problems with the managed connection, and had to set it up manually using pppoeconf

I live in northwest Kunming. On Friday most of the fire was on the northwest side of the mountains. But with the heavy winds it was spreading fast on the other side also.

The traffic police will be the ones smoking in the corner and spitting.... while the cars will be parked down the center of the street, and cars going down the wrong way because they can't turn left due to said cars in the middle of the street.

Just saw it this week on a road just off of Beijing Lu.

Last time I checked heavy pollutants can't be "flushed" clean. The title should be related to this: "the effort is expected to provide Kunming with another source of water in times of drought as well as generate hydropower."

Cheese tasted great. Much better than other pizza joints.

Excellent salad bar. Hamburgers are usually ok. The fancier dishes were a little lacking.

Giving it a 4 stars for the salad bar. If you were going there for "fine dining" then probably best to go somewhere else.

The store also has some nice imported food(though obviously Metro is cheaper for some things). The freshly baked goods are nice too.



Seems to be pretty hit or miss. First time I went there the pizza and hamburgers were great. 2nd time the pizza was terrible, and the hamburger was ok. 3rd time the pizza was ok, but people were smoking inside by the time we left. Guess the no smoking policy is not enforced.



Not bad. Pretty much what you would expect, but expensive for China.



Expensive, but decent bread. Other places are better, but not bad if you're in a hurry.
