But for now, providing English education is big bucks in China, and currently money trumps manners. Sad situation, some reforms happening in the industry (positive reforms or not, is another question), butmaybe one day anti-discrimination reform will come.

To get to Kunming Bei to catch the metre gauge cost me 1 kuai for a 20 min bus ride - how long will it take to get to Leshan?
Although yesterday afternoon my family turned up at the station to discover the afternoon run is closed for some sort of refit. The morning run was not mentioned as closed.

Posted byWent & tried it. Runs every day through Spring Festival, although the Railway Museum is closed for a couple of days over the break. Very interesting, and the kids loved it!
