Spring City Yoga Collective is a yoga and self defense studio offering 10 to 15 classes per week in yoga, self defense, and meditation. We also offer Thai massage.
Some of the types of yoga we teach include Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin. Our self defense classes are fun, practical, and accessible to all levels.
We teach a system combining elements of Krav Maga, Western boxing, Muay Thai, Systema, Ju Jitsu and some components taken from traditional martial arts like Chinese Kung Fu.
We also often feature all kinds of guest instructor workshops, from fencing to Qi Gong.

I've been going to this place for around 3 months now. Very engaging and motivating teacher! The self defense classes are the main reason why I go here but the yoga (vinyasa) classes especially surprised me as they leave me gassed in no time. I used to think yoga could never be physically demanding enough for a guy like me who does pushups for fun. But they are. Trust me.
I started taking classes at this yoga studio about six months ago. To be honest, I firmly believed yoga was a bunch of tree-hugging, Birkenstock wearing, save the dolphins, eat tofu and save the dolphins whilst opening your third eye semi-cult nonsense. I was proven very, very wrong. Not only are the classes wonderful and the teachers professional, the effect they have had on me are immense. Back pain has disappeared, ten kilos have melted off my frame, I feel happier, more mentally energetic and I have yet to take a single class I did not enjoy. If you want to improve your physical and mental health and not be gouged like the chain gyms will do, sign up for classes at this studio. I guarantee you will not regret it. And no-one has, I am pleased to say, ever told me that I need to hug trees or save marine mammals.
