thanks for all the good food and drinks over the past couple of years. i honestly didn't go there after some prices were almost doubled (such as the Coffee shake)but i will miss the place.
best of luck with whatever comes next!
Samoana is closed and the business is for sale. Contact numbers are posted on the door.
Good Luck Ruth and Troy and all the good folk that worked there.
Really friendly people.
All the sauce that was dripping from the big, juicy, delicious burger and the large portion of fries that accompanied it didn't feel very Christian to me!
I forgot to ask for the soft drink that comes for free with burgers on Tuesdays, but will definitely do so next time!
so far the best place for me to eat and hang out! I love the food and drinks! The staff here is also very friendly!!!! I will definitely keep on going back to this place.
This replaces the five-star review that I left on May 2, 2009.
I've always enjoyed Samoana for unpretentious, well-prepared food and a friendly atmosphere. I went back yesterday for the first time in a while, however, and had a plate of fish and chips that was a big disappointment.
I usually give KM establishments the benefit of the doubt over one bad dish, but in this case absolutely everything was wrong: the chips were (of the thin McDonald's french fry style) were already cold and hard at the time the plate arrived at my table; the tartar sauce seemed to mostly consist of chopped pickles and water, no mayonnaise to be detected; the fish fillets were small and rather than being moist and flaky, they were dry and fibrous; the batter was thick and overly hard.
I hope this was just a fluke.
