Salvador's Coffee House
Decent place, but the waitresses are so lazy. Every time i order food it comes cold, or i have to remind them what i ordered 2 times at least
Salvador's Coffee House
Good service, good food. Thanks for updating the online menu!
Salvador's Coffee House
Salvador's has always been an oasis of proper management and good food in Kunming. They have a substantial menu so not everything is perfect. The variety allows you to not get bored. The mediterranean wrap, pasta, tomato cheese melt especially with pesto are great and it's the best price for cocktails in China. BillDan glad you are back slagging restaurants and that you know wraps just like you knew mexican food you hadn't eaten. He is correct that the bun on the hamburger can be hit and miss. All together a solid place in a land of mediocrity.
Salvador's Coffee House
I have to renew my 5 star rating I did some years ago. And I would like to ad one more if possible.
Some days ago I tried their version of Eggs Benedict from the new breakfast menu. Bagel, chream cheese, smoked salmon, spinach, poached egg and a pesto yoghurt sauce. I am still having all the flavours in my mouth and it was probably the best meal I had in a restaurant Kunming!
Service has always been friendly and great. No changes there in the past years.
My only complaint; there is too much Gin in the Gin&Tonics :-)
But please don not change that!
Salvador's Coffee House
Went n with a friend who was in town a while back and I got one of their "wraps". I am from Seattle where wraps are a big deal. I know wraps man. The one at Salvador's basically disintegrated when I tried to pick it up and eat it (the way a wrap should be eaten) and so I had to use a fork and it just fell at too bits all over my plate. Can't even make a wrap tortilla? My friend got a burger and the homemade bun on his too just fell all apart in his hands. And it was not cheap. Will stick to the coffee even though the to go brew is served too damned hot and they will not give you two cups free. The glory days for Salvador's is long gone. Doubt Ed Norton will be coming back.
