OK dear Kunming peeps, here's some historical art questions!
So I just started studying history of east asian art and I have to do a first presentation on a piece of art. I decided to do it on a piece of Shibaoshan in Jianchuang county close to Dali. I'm especially interested in the piece the Venus of the East. Now the hook!
So I did visit this place and I do remember reading some tale about this caved figure (the woman with the whole) and somehow I remember reading that she is treated as the Venus of the East. But I can't find anything about it on the net!
Can anyone help me? English or Chinese both is fine, important is some information.
Thanks a million:)
