Has anyone had recent experience getting apple computers repaired here in Kunming? I'd appreciate a name and location of repair shop and what kind of experience you had.

The only authorized Apple service center I have seen is on the first floor in the Jinying shopping center. I have never used their services so can't offer experience.

As said on a previous thread, try checking their site:

locate.apple.com/[...]

If that doesn't work (not sure if its just my session), try going to:

locate.apple.com/cn/zh/

The second option, enter Kunming or 昆明 into the box and select Mac from the drop down and hit search. There are currently 2 service centres in Kunming.
