Hi everybody,

I was planning on getting my health certificate for my next visa extension tomorrow. I was looking through the forums to check any information on the whereabouts of the foreigner health certificate bureau, but was unable to find anything. It is supposed to be close to the airport. Is there anybody who is able to clarify this location?

does the health certificate last 1 year? or do u have to go to the health certificate bureau every 6 months?

should last one year, although if you happen to change visas somewhere in the middle, especially past the 6 month mark they MAY ask you to go again.

I managed to go a year a and a half once on one health cert, by getting a year visa after a six-month visa previously.

More than year as long as you didn't leave the country " cross border"

I'm planning to renew my student visa. They said since my health certificate was more than a year old I had to get a new one. I think many health insurance policies in China also require a similar health check-up at least once a year.
