Anyone here flown with pets from Kunming? I've flown in with pets, just need to know where to start the paperwork to fly out with them. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you flying domestically or internationally? Our experience domestically was from Beijing to Kunming with a small puppy. In China no airline permits animals of any kind in the passenger compartment, no matter how small or docile.

We initiated our process by asking specific questions at the airline ticketing office for our carrier (China Eastern at the time). They were able to give specific instructions about vetrinary certificates and government travel permits.
