As it says on the embassy website, you should get the job before going to a place. A little something called planning. And, yes, China is bigger than Kunming, so it would be pretty obvious you would get job offers in China, but not Kunming. Haha.
Maybe because I got 3 jobs in Kunming.

Ha! Necronomicon, as the OP says, I've been in China 2 years now. Considering my experience I wanted to different places and check out the jobs FIRST. That's kept me from taking jobs in Nanchang and Nanjing, among others. Embassy websites are fair rules of thumb, but not the guiding light of my job search.
