I believe that today is the last day of Spring Festival. Our resident septuagenarian pyromaniac is outside burning bundles of sticks bought from the markets, very special very smokey.
I am guessing that a lot of other followers of tradition will be doing the same.

Haha. But at least it's over for another year.
My favorite part is when someone sets off a string of the big thumb-sized firecrackers at dawn right below your window and you wake up thinking some kind of cataclysmic natural disaster is happening. I was mentally prepared for this to happen on the first day of Spring Festival, but they caught me off-guard yesterday.
