Interesting article. China continues her history of mass relocations. Hope it works out for the people.

Relocations can be good or bad; when Power decides they must be forced, it should be a wake-up call that Power has been, and is still, doing something wrong.

Nevermind the rural development. The city developments over recent years are rapidly deteriorating. There are 2 year old buildings in need of urgent repair and look like they are 50 years old both internally and externally, due to lack of basic maintainance and cleaning.

100% so true. Many older building look better than the new ones after 2-5 years have passed. They collect massive amount of money for the maintenance fee yet they often fail to maintain simple things like changing light bulbs. China really does make crap for the most part.
