@Petergg: You have a point and are factually correct. I do see the GT opinion as hopeful.
Here is a bit on how translations can f**k things up. Which one is Trump reading?
@ Geezer
Al-Jazeera has headline today:
"China to remain 'neutral' if North Korea attacks first".
Some other media similar headline, then some have something like: "China populist newspaper suggests...", which is closer to the truth.
---
Btw, that was an interesting link by Geezer.
To sum it up slightly, after Geezers link and Al-Jazeeras headline, the 'fake news' phenomenon is not only fake news, in the sense that news are just faked on purpose, but fake news also means that news have become horribly low quality. This is not only US, exactly same going on in Europe also. Maybe they focused too much on 'fast news', representation, fast headlines, fancy cameras, and nice clothes, and then of course since the lunatic movement infiltrated journalism, the overall base for analysis and quality dropped to a horribly low level. Just what you could expect of them.
It's all about the click bait. Anything to get you to click on to there website for advertising money.
Btw look at Trumps latest tweet, 1h ago. Looks like this:
"Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely.
Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!"
When you compare it with the previous tweets by Trump, you see he now messes up with the space before the comma, and leaves two spaces before the sentence that starts wth the word "Hopefully...". Didnt happen before. Thats how you usually spot a Chinese writing English, but now it seems Trump is nervous, angry or both :)
Edit: Couldnt leave two spaces there in the quotation, the Gkunming website threw it on a new line below. You better look at POTUS twitter to see it.
Go get 'em President Trump!
American Looney Toons will destroy us all. Just what motivates them is a mystery
Real people close to the situation (as opposed to dangerous politicians who apparently have little personal inclination to tell the truth and little concern for real people) are more honest and have better sense:

Enough with these blustering Aholes armed to the teeth for hegemony, already. Fear supports powerful saviours, who are just desperate to find something to save us from other than themselves.
