Spat with Kim

@debaser

This 'Russia' thing is going on in a hell-a-lot of European countries also, so you can just switch the channel if you miss it. The common denominator here seems to be that those people who are still in the books of the sane, and slightly on the conservative-patriotic side are accused as 'collaborating with Russia', and then if you are this raving-insane-feminist-transvestite-leftist-lunatic, you are 'not collaborating with Russia', and hence shall also accuse others to be 'collaborating with Russia'. Apparently those lunatic movements who want to bring West to chaos - and that have been very successfull - see Russia as a great threat. The reason these people hate Trump is also not because of party politics either, its because he is a white heterosexual conservative male. The last person the decadent lunatic movement want to see in power.

Both parties in the US are conservative, just rival factions. One sometimes throws a crumb to working people or minorities. Both like constant warfare, hence rattling young Kim's cage lately.

If we got smarter we would pay less attention to the antics of these message-sending game-playing 'leaders' and might be able to reduce their collective influence on our ability to reason clearly, which is almost always swamped by the blast of the spotlights. They are leaders because we are followers, and the hierarchy and its spotlights are built on the foundation of economic control, however carried out - we weren't born this way.

How does it become so easy to ignore, or even forget, who does the dying? The serious divisions among us are horizontal, not vertical.

Trump's the one who's got thousands of them, kept in working order by the military, who are likely to obey him whether they like him or not. Or even if they maintain some degree of sanity they might just take over, which in the long run would probably be worse....but like I've been saying, I really don't believe any of this will happen, at least now, Trump's not really completely nuts, nor is Kim, and none of them rule alone. The Chinese government has more sense in these matters.
But if you want to get rid of all the nukes, you have to start with the US, and they're not smart enough to do that. Everybody thinks they can defend themselves to the point of the death of everybody.
Hmm - I guess I'm just restating the obvious: the species has serious psycho-social problems, nothing new there, unfortunately, and we only have to screw up once.

Good reason to be an alien, and we welcome new members.

Nork has announced the intent to launch four missiles targeted to hit 30Km from Guam. Guamanians are US citizens and Guam is considered US soil.

Global Times says, "...if North Korea launches missiles that threaten US soil first and the US retaliates, China will stay neutral."

Whole sentence: "China should also make clear that if North Korea launches missiles that threaten US soil first and the US retaliates, China will stay neutral."

Thats the editorial opinion. Recently the West is citing Global Times as if it was The Peoples Daily. And many in West have no clue about the Global Times, even journalists are just refering to it as if it was the partys main newspaper. You never know with this Global Times newspaper, but when that sentence is in The Renmin Ribao and evening news, then it means business.

Anyway, that a populist nationalist newspaper writes this is of significance in many ways. Nonetheless, it will also mean the nationalists (95% of the population) will have anti-US sentiment if US strikes first.
