I am wondering if anyone has contacts or "guanxi" at the Harbour Plaza Hotel? My parents are coming to visit from May 13th - 24th and they want to go there, and I want to see if I can get a good price for them. Any information or help is appreciated.

Check out ctrip.com and search for hotels. I found a deluxe lakeview room for 750 RMB, standard rooms for 650 RMB and VIP floor rooms for 1000 RMB. No guanxi needed. Also, check out Green Lake Hotel. Prices are similar, location is similar and it may be a better choice from the rooms to the service. Please welcome your parents to Kunming!
