In short, seeing as we are so close to Vietnam, does anyone fancy popping over with me in June for a guided motorcycle tour of the country for about a week.

A colleague of mine recommended it to me and it does sound like an absolutely unique way to see the country and surprisingly economical. Plus a damn sight more fun than on any bus or train.

A bit about myself, I've just arrived for work in MengZi, in HongHe prefecture from the UK and will be working around Yunnan for 3 months, possibly ending up in Kunming next month, fingers crossed.

I'm totally interested in this. I'm from the US, and will be arriving in Kunming in early May planning to stay and study Mandarin for several months. In May, I'll be studying like mad, but will be more free in the month of June.
