electric shaver

can anyone recommend a good electric shaver?

mine is annoyingly slow to shave with.

I personally would not buy local brands as their traditional customers do not have strong beards. Only fluff. I would bite the bullet and pay the premium for Philips or Braun, I have seen both in China.
Triple floating heads are a lot more expensive but do a good job. Although some are over priced. As are cartridge razors.

If you change from rotary to straight electric shaver (or vice versa), it takes a couple of months to get a clean shave with the changeover.

Panasonics are good too. The name brand razors sell for a big premium in store in Kunming. Online or HK if you have a trip coming up.

I second Philips/Norelco, Braun. I've been using the same basic model Norelco for 15 years. I recommend a basic model with readily available replacement parts.
