'It gives people a good pay'
I don't mean this to read like an attack, because it isn't meant to be. But you have to accept that the pay you're offering simply isn't good. Telling people it's good doesn't make it good. It isn't. Period.

20 hours a week = 8000RMB
That would equal [theoretically] 16000 RMB for 40 hours a week?
Would that be better, or still be that bad?
'8000RMB/ for 80 hours a month is fantastic for preschool, it just is! And that's why I advertise it'.
I beg to differ. 100 Yuan per hour doing teaching of any kind simply isn't good in the current market in China. Saying 'it just is!' doesn't make it so. But i wish you the best of luck.
So if we would offer 16.000 RMB for a normal 40 hour work week, then the pay would be good? right
From what I know 16000 RMB for any school in Kunming is in the 'good-pay-zone'.
Am I right.
This a was for preschool teachers or people who want to be and have to desire to.
And preschool stress level is extreme so as I said before the teachers we have enjoy the spare time/salary ratio. And if there is a preschool teacher out there or if you meet one and ask if he or she thinks that the deal stinks.
We would like to keep our teachers, we want them to grow with us, get a career, and stay with us as we become larger.
And for that you need rested healthy responsible and professional staff. So again if you want to cash in on teaching preschool isn't the best place to start anyway.
The highest preschool pay I ever heard of was 33000 for an exceptional teacher in Beijing, and he was in charge of everything, he didn't last longer than 10 month before he was burned out.
Preschool teaching is exhausting but an amazing experience, the money is somewhere else in education.
@Heller
May I ask you how much you make teaching fulltime?
@Heller
No offense but just saying it isn't also doesn't make it so.
I just did a calculation
If I would get a humanly acceptable pay [i assume] 150-200RMB per hour full time = 8 hours X 20 working days.
I would make 24000-32000.
So everyone earning less than that, is being taken advantage off?
I wonder if there is any school offering that much disregarding the school system.
Man I am really not up to date with pay in China anymore. My engineer friend makes 33000 a month working his butt off for a western company operating in China. I guess they really got him good.
With respect, i'm not going to get into how much money i make.
My original point was simply that 100 Yuan per hour is low for a 'highly professional' and 'extraordinary' teacher.
Those genuinely professional and extraordinary teachers are likely those with years of experience, and their salary should reflect that expertise. For me, 100 yuan per hour isn't a fair reflection. You say it is. I disagree. End of story.
Again, i wish you the best of luck.
I already spent more time than I should trying to bring my case.
Look,the pay is good for the hours you have to put in. We have a fantastic curriculum.
Yes if you work part time I would not be satisfied to make 120-130 RMB/hour. My actually part time pay was 250 RMB an hour and you will get more in other school systems. If making more money is your incentive, sure you know what, I even tell you some school to go to.
But it's a FT job so you get your hours and support and assistance and a nice paycheck at the end of the month.
So our preschool is paying good for the little work you do and you get time to rest and enjoy, actually having available time.
So you don't have to apply for the job if you think the pay stinks. But as I mentioned before most preschool teachers will see the good 'time' deal.
And if you are exceptional or 'only' very professional there is a lot of growth waiting.
We have a good team and we have all the facilities and material we need. I am there to filter the chaos and make sure that you are taken care of.
So that is what I can offer besides what I already wrote in the ad.
@Heller
Dunno that didn't seem helpful at all just stinking about somebody's stuff but then actually having no argument at all.
Well thanks for the input and the good wishes.
Thanks guys this has been fun and it's nice to be overwhelmed with expertise in this specific field and for the help and advise.
I am sure we will find a good teacher and if the teacher has a bit of negotiation skills we will be able to remunerate him or her according to his or her skills and experience.
The ad will stay because, it just is a good deal [preschool teachers will know] and I will keep my word. Thanks for the bashing, it's always good to have concerned citizens out there, always [seemingly] knowing best.
See you in the interviews.
