Kunming Boy Scout Troop 888 will be the beneficiary of a fundraiser at Samoana Saturday morning from 10 until noon.
Saturday: Photo exhibition opening at Cat's Cradle Café
Newly opened Cat's Cradle Café on Dingzi Po (on the southeast corner of Yunnan University, between Beimen Jie and Qingyun Jie) will be hosting an opening for a photo exhibition by Dutch photographer Yereth Jansen. Opening starts at 3 pm, entry is free.
Saturday & Sunday: Premier League at Lazy Bones Pizza
Lazy Bones Pizza will show English Premier League football this weekend: Saturday night is Stoke City v Wigan Athletic at 8:45 pm and Chelsea v Everton at 11 pm, Sunday Liverpool plays Arsenal at 11:59 pm.
Saturday: Costume Dance Party at Dangsters Dance Studio
Saturday night the Dangsters will be throwing a costume dance party at their studio in the Dechun Telecom building at Xiao Xi Men. Come dressed up as your favorite celebrity or become a celebrity yourself. Party starts at 9:30, entry is free.
Saturday: Holiday concert at TCG Nordica
TCG Nordica will hold a holiday concert on Saturday night entitled "New Songs for the Season". Performance begins at 8, entry is 20 yuan.
Sunday: Lucia concert at TCG Nordica
The Scandinavian holiday of Lucia will be celebrated with music and a banquet at TCG Nordica Sunday night at 8. Entry for the concert is 10 yuan and the banquet is 45 yuan. To make banquet reservations, call 4114691.
