I'd stay away from Chery. They have a pretty bad safety rep and the finishing quality is poor even for Chinese cars. Great Wall has decent cars which they are already exporting so safety and overall quality is comparatively better. BYD is eying the export markets as well so expect their newer cars to of acceptable standards. Don't know anything about JAC but if you are scouting the market I think there is a big autoshow coming up in Kunming this week. I've seen posters for it but I can't remember where it's being held. It's taking place from the 26th to the 30th of this month. Anyone who's got some more info on that?

i don't know about the reliability or durability of the Tiggo, but I was reading about them being the first(?) car in china to release a supercharged 1.6L. The specs actually gave more power, torque, performance to it than the 2.0L. Can that be that right?
