I have been reading about the Tourist Police in Kunming and am wondering if there are going to be any opportunities for foreign volunteers.

I have some experience as a Tourist Police Volunteer in Chiang Mai and wondered whether I could play a similar role here?

Wouldn't it logical to contact them directly since you've already have the info in your hands?

I did not know there were tourist police in Kunming lol. The only police I have seen have been either sleeping, or texting on their cells.

I do not live in Kunming,so getting to Xishan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration is a bit difficult for me.
I was hoping that somebody here might know some of the officers there, in the same way that the rest of us cultivate relationships with the guys at our local immigration bureaus.
Even better, if there are any foreign volunteer tourist police, i thought that they might be hanging out on these forums.
