Interested in playing rugby in Kunming?

We started a team about 6 months back and are always looking for new players. There's no prior experience required and no restrictions on age, nationality, or gender.

We practice every Sunday at a field on the Yunnan Normal University campus that is located off of Longquan Lu. Practice starts at 4pm.

We also practice every Wednesday at stadium field just east of Yunnan University on Yieryi Da Jie. Practice starts at 5pm.

Practice usually includes going over basic rugby skills and a game or two of touch rugby.

Every 3rd Sunday of the month we split up the players and hold a full contact match of either 7s or 10s.

We're always trying to find other teams willing to travel to Kunming for inter-city matches and we've had invitations from teams in Xiamen, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanjing, and Nantong for away matches so it can be a great way to get out and see different parts of China and playing rugby is just as much a social activity as it is sport.
