I think what HFCAMPO quoted is another doomsday author. All the points he mentioned could be found at any period of time through history not just at the fall of a dynasty.

All these things mentioned are signs of any human society at any time. Plus it is not very specific about the measures.

In term of food, Dicos and KFC is both pretty terrible. I avoid it when I can except McD ice cream. Which is not bad at all for a few kuais.

@Alien. Yeah it's better than streetsquid. Though you get 1/3 as much for your 10rmb. It's slightly different as it's batter fried and in snack sized bites. Oil and seasonings better. No onion bits though.
