Forums > Food & Drink > A delicious new Italian restaurant in northern Kunming
Ask for the weekly special! Won't be in the menu. Normally some really magic stuff.

Forums > Living in Kunming > Chinese guitars..
Considering buying a guitar here. Lot of straaange brands around. Any of the chinese brands that are any good?
Want either a semi-acoustic or a cheap electric. Don't need a good electric since my Peavey Wolfgang EVH back home will do the trick when I return home. A semi-acoustic, though, could be worth considering bringing home.

Wrong decade. Where's the 1970's? I want a bar with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin!
Add ZZ Top to the 80's, at least, together with Alice Cooper.

Not so, DnD is more newbie-friendly than it may seem. Yes, there is a bunch of game mechanics to keep track of, but whether the game is No0b-friendly or not depends on if the experienced players have a no0b-friendly attitude. If they do, being no0b is no problem.
Ok, so october it seems to be? Well, just have to wait, then:o)

4th ed is quite something else.. I'd really recommend 3.5. Everytime they make a new edition, they really make a new game.. 4th ed is adjusted to interest World Of Warcraft nerds. Call me old school, but I really vote for 3.5.
Anyone with a good internet connection that could download them in PDF format? I had the books in PDF on my computer back home a while ago, works fine but take some MB to download..

Kunming > Sandra's
Sandra's is high on the Kunming must-do, and you just can't stop coming back. The lovely atmosphere, the friendly and including staff and the amazing food just makes your day everytime. Visiting Sandra's is a guaranteed success! If it weren't for Sandra, our christmas in Kunming might have been a sad story, but Sandra always deliver. It was great!
Also, Sandra can do magic on demand; her off-menu homesick cure is worth the lot for expats. Call her or text her a day or two in advance and tell her what you fancy to stop missing home, and she'll fix it if it's possible, and always with style. (Scandinavians, ask for the meatballs with mashed potatoes and cauliflower!!)
Warning: start frequenting Sandra's and you'll miss it badly when you're out of Kunming. I'm back home in Europe now, and I'm looking very much forward to the next time I get in a taxi going to Beichen.
