    no gangs or mafia in kunming.
    mostly angry farmers, uneducated group of people etc...

    sorry to hear you fell into this situation. I live close to where the accident happened.
    I got into an accident myself in that area but a military car hit me while he was on red light.
    i won the case in the end.

    international students housing sucks.

    bring along camera, ur cloths, ur laptop.
    they got good shampoo's and basic necessities here

    no kitchen in dorm building
    university is ok.
    they relocated closer to green lake which isn't that bad.
    teacher's are also ok.
    kunming's weather will be nice by the time u come

    So I went to check out Ganesh today to try out some Indian food. The decor inside is very simple, elegant, and few paintings of ganesh the indian god.

    as for the food, I tried the chicken Tikka Masala, and the monday thalis.
    Also ordered some french fries and a separate dish of kashilim? naan.
    Ladies & Gentlemen, I left the restaurant full and happy.
    Great indian curry, great chicken, great naan and the price is quite reasonble.
    The only thing that made me a little unhappy was that I had to wait 25minutes, 46 seconds. No big deal though since the food was so great.
    Definitely try out ganesh, if your open to all sorts of food or your a fan of indian cuisine, you'll like ganesh!

    I went to Salvador's last year around September because of all the talks about this place. So I was pretty excited to try this place out. I went in and ordered a beer and cheeseburger.
    Long story short, I never went to Salvador's ever since.

    what do u expect
    the waitress and bangkok cafe is rude as hell
    so it makes vintage cafe service look OK
    its a nice ambiance
    go there once
