    Definitely go somewhere, either Bangkok or Beijing, Shanghai, or HK. I severed a tendon in my right wrist this past August (in America, a few months after returning from Kunming) and your injury sounds much more serious than mine. This is definitely something you need to drop all your other priorities for.

    I have a quick question that perhaps someone can answer here. I sometimes saw what appeared to be security guards wearing grey shirts with red epaulets (if my memory serves me). I'm trying to recount a particular instance I saw around Shifan Daxue.

    Anyway, can anyone tell me if these are private security, or maybe some sort of police, or university security?

    Setting aside all the extreme claims here for and against TCM, the fact remains that very, very few TCM techniques have been proven to be at all effective in placebo-controlled blind studies. The only exception I can think of is acupuncture.
