  • Finally the Hump Bar is back! Place turned to shit after Mark and Joy left but now Danish Christina took over and there´s life music, 20-22 tsingdao (5rmb!) happy hour :D and all the good crowd coming back!

    Missed this place.

  • i went there play some games,and dance a little bit downstairs,and the food is nasty,the drink is like crap,ahahuuah,whatever

  • I wanted to take a moment to thank Mark and Joy for hosting a great party on Friday night. I'm now back in the USA, but thinking about the good times and good friends back in Kun Ming. I want to thank John Nevada, Matt, and Ian and drummer (sorry???) for the great Bluzzzzzy music. So many good friends to share a last night with and way too many beers and cocktails. I hope that my couple of "old" songs brought back some good memories. Chris, the DJ, as always played some great classic rock and did an awesome job.
    Well gang, may the sun always shine, the beaches always be white, and your lives filled with love and happiness.
    I will always remember you,

  • if you are TIRED of hearing ear-deafening, tasteless music that the kunming clubscene offers on a daily basis, then The Hump is the right place, great music great friends and the best place to be on a weekend.

  • I have been there now three times and it's a nice place. Always nice people and the service is good.

    The German guy is cool and funny.

    Will go there soon again!

  • i like the place, not much going on during the days that i have been there, but having bitburger bottles for only 20kwai is great if you want a good tasting beer.

  • What can I say about this place, - its marvellous.
    The Manager is so friendly and never lets any newcomer sit alone for long before he introduces them to other regulars.

    This was the first place that we found mainly english speaking people, but also a wonderful mix of nationalities and cultures.

    This place always brings a smile to my face, or is that just the beer?

    My only recommendation for improvement would be the hygene for the toilet but then that goes for most places in Kunming.
