Our Pub

Our pub features a fully imported authentic interior, fitted out to the highest international standards. The operations are in line with the best of any international Irish pub. The layout whilst being traditional in design, maintains the cosiness and quirkiness of an Irish pub incorporating little snugs and nooks for a more private dining and drinking experience while having a welcoming relaxed and very open atmosphere.

At O'Reilly's Irish Pub you are always welcome, just like in Ireland, come and relax with a pint of real genuine Guinness. To complement our Irish drinks, we also feature a wide variety of other draft beers such as Carlsberg, Vedett White, Liefmans Fruitess and DeKonninck. Mixing a selection of classic Irish drinks and other well known beers from around the world (Belgium, Germany, France, Australia, etc). You will not find a more genuine pub atmosphere in all of China!

We also provide lunch and dining options, featuring open or reserved seating and have the perfect area for your dining and late night experiences.

O'Reilly's will organize your events regardless of your requirements from company social events to after wedding parties or birthday parties! Call us! Reserve a whole floor with dedicated bar or just book a space for 4 people. Whatever your requirements, we can tailor the event to suit your needs.

This is the first authentic Irish pub in Kunming and the place to catch up on all your sporting events. The pub has 4 TVs that will show all major sporting events live, as well as special offers related to your games!

Hope to see you soon.

Slainte' !

Good atmosphere, great food and last but not least, only place in Kunming where you can good draft beers for a decent price.

If you miss home food and drinks, this place is for you !

First pub and only place you can call a pub, asides from its other branch, in kunming. Great food and desserts now, beer always good and the staff always have a smile when i walk in.

I went there to get a burger and while waiting, the waiter sneezed liberally right in front of me and all over the glasses that he had just washed, while there was an open space right next to him. This resulted in me getting a cold two days later. Hopefully the other customers who drank in those glasses didn't get infected as well.

As for the food, it seems to have become inconsistent. The burger I ordered came out hard and overcooked and the fries soggy, greasy and overcooked. I'm hoping for a better experience for my next visit there.

Since my original posting (see below), Tim sent me an email apologizing and offering to make up for my poor experience. I am very impressed by his quick response and personal approach (although my response to him was less prompt). He also informed me that they will be talking to the manager to pass on instructions. All in all, a very professional yet friendly manner in dealing with an awkward situation. I'm very satisfied and have changed my rating accordingly (from 1 to 3 stars)....thank you, Tim

Beware your bill!

The last 4 times I have been to O'Reilly's, they have twice added an extra beer to my bill that was never ordered. Both times, it was a young chinese fellow with decent English (the bar manager, I believe) who tried to argue the point and was quite resistant to change the bill, providing a number of reasons and excuses that were not relevant to the situation. I don't know if this is a mere mistake or if something more pernicious is occurring. My gut reaction from these experiences is the latter, as the particulars of each encounter raised my hackles in how it was dealt with. Good beer, descent food, good atmosphere, but very hesitant to return.

Went there for dinner, had the fish and chips but didn't like the fish, my friend got a salad but it was quite small for the price.

So we were a bit disappointed by the food, but the atmosphere is definitely great !
