Does anyone have recommendations (brand, model, cost) for those driving recording cameras that people have in their cars?

What about a radar detector? Any recommendations for that?

I need to buy at least the driving camera before I leave Kunming next week. I went to the tech market on yuantongbeilu but they only had a few models, too cheap or too expensive, nothing in between. I will probably buy one on Taobao.

I use a "Mobile-i" car camera. 1080 P, very sharp about the size of a iPhone. Comes with a great mounting system, can run off car pwr or built in battery. Records sound as well. Uses a micro flash card.

I got it in HK. 500 HKD. Look in Taobao (maybe)

@bucko thanks. I ended up getting a Chinese one that seemed to be well-liked on Taobao. It has dual cameras so I can watch the back too.
